Cecilio Matxin hit a great ball. In the 19th match minute, Plaza Roja 1917 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Bartoleme to maneuver through the defense. Pietro Viqueiras short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Mariano Precioso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 32 minutes in the game Virgilio Oto did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Boruc Modliszewski. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Argentina's Julio Lon got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pietro Viqueira in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Precioso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Precioso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pietro Viqueira's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Cecilio Matxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71stth minute of the game Pietro Viqueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentina's Mariano Precioso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute Augusto Natal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Corderall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Artemio Ekhi in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Argentina's Bernardino Rito. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Herauso in the 78th minute of play forced Argentina's goalkeeper Mariano Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pietro Viqueira in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Precioso saved Argentina from getting behind. If Ovidio Venceslas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Boruc Modliszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Plaza Roja 1917's Pietro Viqueira in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Venceslas couldn't finish the play. In the 94thth minute of the game Pietro Viqueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentina's Mariano Precioso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
