After 9 minutes, Amadeo Galsino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Putrachoique and the Gaimán AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amadeo Galsino hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Salvidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Leopoldo Haitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anibal Salvidor in the 14th minute. With his leg Leopoldo Haitz managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Putrachoique's Anibal Salvidor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 18th minute Justo Calixto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Geofredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Geronimo Aztore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicasio Aimar struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jacobo Geofredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaimán AFC. Justo Calixto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Geofredo having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Putrachoique's Anibal Salvidor got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Justo Calixto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jacobo Geofredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Leopoldo Haitz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 30th minute, Anibal Salvidor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Haitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Salvidor in the 34th minute of play forced Gaimán AFC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Haitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaimán AFC's Justo Calixto got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Geofredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Calixto in the 39th minute of play. Justo Calixto scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Geofredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute, Putrachoique's Godofredo Eron dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Serafino Matro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Jacobo Geofredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justo Calixto in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Gaimán AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Froilan Louis hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godofredo Eron in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Haitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Justo Calixto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jacobo Geofredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Godofredo Eron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Haitz. Gaimán AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godofredo Eron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The supporters of Gaimán AFC booed when Putrachoique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Erauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Gaimán AFC's Nicasio Aimar tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Gaimán AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Aureliano Rudolfo hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Serafino Matro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Haitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaimán AFC's Leopoldo Haitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Eron in the 96th minute of play.
