Los Piratas Celestes's Pedro Marino got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 minutes, Lester Abdul-Hamid mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Piratas Celestes and the Languiñeo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Presebal in the 35th minute of play forced Languiñeo AFC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Perpinya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciriaco Perpinya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaudencio Presebal in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Languiñeo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Marino came free, but Ciriaco Perpinya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Marino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Los Piratas Celestes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Marino in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Perpinya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes in the game, Pedro Marino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ciriaco Perpinya having to interfere. When Gaudencio Presebal, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 95 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ciriaco Perpinya was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Los Piratas Celestes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
