The audience was convinced that Ivan Mitov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Cheche was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 13th minute Ivan Mitov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, rey de copas's Manuel Crispo got control of the ball when Kirill Chervinskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee ordered Baldomero Leocadio off the ground. A collision led to rey de copas getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Baldomero Leocadio hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Kirill Chervinskiy fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Manuel Crispo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kirill Chervinskiy's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. If Prudencio Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manuel Crispo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirill Chervinskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Brian Stenvøje in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by rey de copas's Celso Afonso. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ivan Mitov managed to get in a good position for a shot. rey de copas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Mitov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Cheche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonello Albanesi kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Kirill Chervinskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirill Chervinskiy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Crispo having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the AD Berazategui players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
