The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, C.A.Los Piojos's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Lluc came free, but Basilio Mogel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Sasoin might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basilio Mogel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Sasoin ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the game, Sastre's Siro Lluc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basilio Mogel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jose Sasoin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Sasoin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Sasoin struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Basilio Mogel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sastre. Siro Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filomeno Isaio made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.A.Los Piojos's Norberto Hernando. Norberto Hernando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ariel Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Bernardino Javiero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sastre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Javiero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernabe Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sastre getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Filomeno Isaio hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Siro Lluc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Mogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Mogel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Sasoin, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolfo Pero to strike the kick off in the second half. Ariel Llope stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolfo Pero's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. If Siro Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Siro Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A.Los Piojos's Basilio Mogel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Lluc in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Pero in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Llope prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The C.A.Los Piojos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sastre's performance. The match ended with a win for Sastre.
