Siro Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Sasoin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Ebardo having to interfere. If Jose Sasoin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Lluc came free, but Zacarias Ebardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Norberto Oskarbi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siro Lluc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Zacarias Ebardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Zacarias Ebardo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 42 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Zacarias Ebardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose Sasoin. 46 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Lluc came free, but Zacarias Ebardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laureano Jerrold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Siro Lluc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Zacarias Ebardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Siro Lluc in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Ebardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Siro Lluc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Zacarias Ebardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Sasoin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Jose Sasoin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Ebardo. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Sasoin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Boca Juniors's Zacarias Ebardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Lluc in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Boca Juniors defense, Jose Sasoin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias Ebardo. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Ebardo should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute Siro Lluc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ebardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Siro Lluc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Ebardo came out of the goal and Siro Lluc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Sastre players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
