Basilio Ramond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Atlético Hojman's Eriberto Xabat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Menendo in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Guañizul's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Ramond came free, but Serafin Onbera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Fabricio Florinio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafin Onbera. Guañizul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabricio Florinio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Serafin Onbera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fabricio Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Onbera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Milian in the 34th minute of the match. David Almeida hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With 41 minutes on the clock, Ildefonso Hustaz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
