Spectators: 6638 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Douglas Botelho started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, SAN VALENTIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Domenec to maneuver through the defense. Feliciano Valiente hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Marcelo Iraido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Deportivo Caseros's Douglas Botelho in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SAN VALENTIN's goalie prevented a goal. Miroslaw Zbydniewski kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18thth minute of the game Gabriel Belmiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Caseros's Apolo Mero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The SAN VALENTIN fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when SAN VALENTIN's Marcelo Iraido looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Miroslaw Zbydniewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Guerrero having to interfere. After 28 played minutes SAN VALENTIN got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Ellande. A hard shot 42 in the game by Douglas Botelho from a close distance when the talented Marco Guerrero managed to make a qualified save. SAN VALENTIN's players were relieved. The referee gave Deportivo Caseros a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celedonio Pelayo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SAN VALENTIN's Marco Guerrero. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Deportivo Caseros's Agustin Lixandro was substituted for Celedonio Pelayo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Belmiro to make the kick off. Miroslaw Zbydniewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Guerrero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Botelho in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Guerrero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Americo Domenec took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Apolo Mero. Deportivo Caseros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Botelho in the 66th minute of play forced SAN VALENTIN's goalkeeper Marco Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was a well-played corner which Feliciano Valiente managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Marco Guerrero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miroslaw Zbydniewski went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Deportivo Caseros's Apolo Mero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Caseros from getting a goal against them. After 78 played minutes Deportivo Caseros got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Quiroga. Apolo Mero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Belmiro in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of SAN VALENTIN booed when Deportivo Caseros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Quiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Deportivo Caseros's goalkeeper Apolo Mero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Iraido. Miroslaw Zbydniewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Deportivo Caseros's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cleto Curcio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Deportivo Caseros's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
