If Teo Iratxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Maju was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Ankaios Kalakos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ankaios Kalakos really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Isaias Paskal made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Birjaio during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Villarreal Futbol Club booed when ELDEPOMORON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. After some careless play in the ELDEPOMORON defense, Ignacio Frye kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Maju. The ELDEPOMORON fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Maju should have stopped the shot. Igor Maju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ankaios Kalakos in the 81st minute of the match. Igor Maju came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Villarreal Futbol Club's Ankaios Kalakos. But to his dismay, Ankaios Kalakos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Ignacio Frye might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Maju. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignacio Frye ran back to his position shaking his head. ELDEPOMORON's Igor Maju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ankaios Kalakos in the 93rd minute of play. Villarreal Futbol Club's Benito Elequemedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Paskal in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Villarreal Futbol Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
