Spectators: 7089 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Ankaios Kalakos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jeremias Joseph sped through Villarreal Futbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Elequemedo. Salvador Haimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Frye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of C.A. Aldosivi booed when Villarreal Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Elequemedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Fresco in the 17th minute of play. Salvador Haimar came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Villarreal Futbol Club's Martín Villarreal. But to his dismay, Martín Villarreal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When C.A. Aldosivi's Jeremias Joseph in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villarreal Futbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. Martín Villarreal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Jacinto Iigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, Ankaios Kalakos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Salvador Haimar. Ankaios Kalakos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmiro Ruy got free with Salvador Haimar in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Joseph in the 34th minute of play forced Villarreal Futbol Club's goalkeeper Benito Elequemedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Fernado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Benito Elequemedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Fernado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Elequemedo having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremias Joseph to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, C.A. Aldosivi's goal looked a bit too open when Ankaios Kalakos came free, but Salvador Haimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martín Villarreal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Salvador Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Ankaios Kalakos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villarreal Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ankaios Kalakos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teo Iratxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Salvador Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute of the match Alberto Matthew sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Elequemedo skillfully saved the ball. If Felipe Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, C.A. Aldosivi's Benito Elequemedo threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lino Fernado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Villarreal Futbol Club's Benito Elequemedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Joseph in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th match minute, C.A. Aldosivi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Abalos to maneuver through the defense. Ignacio Frye succeeded in the game's 76th minute to get real power on a long shot . C.A. Aldosivi's Salvador Haimar hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 3-2! Salvador Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martín Villarreal, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 3-4 when Jeremias Joseph sped through Villarreal Futbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Elequemedo. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C.A. Aldosivi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
