When Evaristo Argina came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Boedo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Argina couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the game, Boedo FC's Eduardo Tabb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustino Tauro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Enzo Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Lucian in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Lucian in the 16th minute of play forced Boedo FC's goalkeeper Enzo Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Boedo FC! Boedo FC's Enzo Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Eguerdi in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Tabb in the 22nd minute of play forced Olympic F.C.'s goalkeeper Faustino Tauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Faustino Tauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Steven kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Faustino Tauro came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Boedo FC's Teodoro Ramos. But to his dismay, Teodoro Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Teodoro Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Olympic F.C.'s zone, Eduardo Tabb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Tauro came out of the goal and Eduardo Tabb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Teodoro Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Boedo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Lucian came free, but Enzo Olivar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Tabb was the one to do the kick off. Damian Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Olivar having to interfere. If Eduardo Tabb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Boedo FC's Eduardo Tabb in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olympic F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Faustino Tauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Tabb, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Santos Lucian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympic F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Lucian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Damian Eguerdi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Enzo Olivar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boedo FC's Eduardo Tabb got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Eguerdi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Enzo Olivar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Damian Eguerdi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enzo Olivar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. A collision led to Boedo FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Evaristo Argina hit a great ball. Evaristo Argina hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Eduardo Tabb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Tauro having to interfere. Faustino Tauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Argina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
