Celestino Lugo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudio Cuarto. CUCO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Omar Hunfredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Arne Mossberg hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Claudio Cuarto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Dacio in the 30th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Domingos Milian got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in SAC Fútbol Club's zone, Domingos Milian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Natal came out of the goal and Domingos Milian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 56th match minute, CUCO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Efren to maneuver through the defense. SAC Fútbol Club's Cayetano Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Gualtieri in the 59th minute of play. Cayetano Natal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Sanson's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Gabriel Sanson might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Natal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Sanson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th match minute, SAC Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Lugo to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, CUCO FC's Generoso Valerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cayetano Natal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 74thth minute of the game Omar Hunfredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CUCO FC's Claudio Cuarto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudio Cuarto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Dacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Anacleto Dacio could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Claudio Cuarto however easily saved by the left post. Celestino Lugo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Jeronimo Efren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Omar Hunfredo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Claudio Cuarto, 2-1. There was no doubt that CUCO FC were the better team. CUCO FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
