Bernabe Hibai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Jacinto Lugo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernabe Hibai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Yupanqui FC's Julian Oier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Chorche in the 19th minute of play. Hurlingham AFC's Pastor Medero got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Yupanqui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Chorche came free, but Julian Oier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yupanqui FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! In the 32nd minute, the referee gave Hurlingham AFC a penalty. Pastor Medero looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Julian Oier. A collision led to Hurlingham AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Leon Matia hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Jayvier in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernabe Hibai saved Hurlingham AFC from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeo Jayvier was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Gervasio Chorche made a precise shot to the right of Julian Oier. Yupanqui FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Bernabe Hibai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Lugo in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Jacinto Lugo could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Bernabe Hibai however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Hurlingham AFC's Leon Matia got a free kick in the 65th minute. A hard shot 69 in the game by Jacinto Lugo from a close distance when the talented Bernabe Hibai managed to make a qualified save. Hurlingham AFC's players were relieved. A collision led to Hurlingham AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Leon Matia hit a great ball. Bernabe Hibai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Jayvier, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Hurlingham AFC's goalkeeper Bernabe Hibai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Lugo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Aimar in the 78th minute of play forced Yupanqui FC's goalkeeper Julian Oier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Yupanqui FC's Tadeo Jayvier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernabe Hibai. Bernabe Hibai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. After 87 minutes of play, Yupanqui FC's Jacinto Lugo made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernabe Hibai was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, Hurlingham AFC's goalkeeper Bernabe Hibai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Lugo. Leon Matia charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Matia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Leon Matia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Jacinto Lugo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Yupanqui FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Yupanqui FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
