The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliberto Lauren got free with Songurbey Suyurgal in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Elvira FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Javier Perico hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Roberto Urritz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Ignatius. Elvira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Urritz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marcial Ignatius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Lidon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Javier Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Abastas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Songurbey Suyurgal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Javier Perico made a kick off. Songurbey Suyurgal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kacper Majkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Virgilio Mantzio kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Javier Perico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elvira FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Kacper Majkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Javier Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. Elvira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kacper Majkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Songurbey Suyurgal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elvira FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
