The coaching staff of Los Borrachos del Tablon protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dalmacio Llorienzo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Desiderio Nofre might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidro Koldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Desiderio Nofre ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute Benjamin Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Koldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Los Borrachos del Tablon's Nicasio Mundo got a free kick in the 24th minute. Bruno Maureo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Eulalio Raphael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Languiñeo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Borrachos del Tablon the free kick. After 29 played minutes Languiñeo got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Raphael. Isidro Koldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Sustrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Bruno Maureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Isidro Koldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Abascal to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Anselmo Lorencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Isidro Koldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Raphael in the 82nd minute of the match. Los Borrachos del Tablon's Nicasio Mundo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aristides Niguel in the 87 minute of the game. Los Borrachos del Tablon succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Languiñeo had controlled the match.
