Gowland's Ivan Vincente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Gowland from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, LataM's Ivan Vincente threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jónatan Pinola, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Frisco got free with Ivan Vincente in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Abecia in the 39th minute of play forced Gowland's goalkeeper Ivan Vincente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
