Silvano Hermon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sokratis Koulaxizis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 played minutes pollerin FC got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Ordono. Apolo Berart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sokratis Koulaxizis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 21 minutes, Sokratis Koulaxizis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Gigante de Arroyo Seco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sokratis Koulaxizis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, El Gigante de Arroyo Seco's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Teyo came free, but Moises Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Dolfos made in the 32nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Stasio Wojtyna. Apolo Berart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sokratis Koulaxizis in the 33rd minute of play. Sokratis Koulaxizis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Apolo Berart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Godfredo Conrao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apolo Berart was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sokratis Koulaxizis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Apolo Berart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half El Gigante de Arroyo Seco were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Humberto Teyo made the kick off in the second half. When Sokratis Koulaxizis came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the El Gigante de Arroyo Seco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sokratis Koulaxizis couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Sokratis Koulaxizis managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Gigante de Arroyo Seco's supporters rose to their feet, but Sokratis Koulaxizis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Berart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, pollerin FC's Gervasio Ordono got a free kick in the 65th minute. Joseph Kielberg kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Sixto Caetano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Berart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, El Gigante de Arroyo Seco's goal looked a bit too open when Adriana Oxarra came free, but Moises Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sokratis Koulaxizis in the 75th minute of play forced pollerin FC's goalkeeper Apolo Berart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes pollerin FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Quirze who took care of the corner kick. When Sokratis Koulaxizis came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the El Gigante de Arroyo Seco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sokratis Koulaxizis couldn't finish the play. pollerin FC's Adriana Oxarra pulled a muscle in his leg after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of pollerin FC booed when El Gigante de Arroyo Seco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Conrao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Berart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sokratis Koulaxizis, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Apolo Berart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sokratis Koulaxizis in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Iraitz in the 91st minute of play forced El Gigante de Arroyo Seco's goalkeeper Moises Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Teyo might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moises Ongile. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Teyo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute Humberto Teyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded El Gigante de Arroyo Seco left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than pollerin FC.
