The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciriaco Procopio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oberá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Veremundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesar Chuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesar Chuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adan Shantala having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Procopio notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Oberá's Adan Shantala. Adan Shantala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Oberá getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Leonides Quilo hit a great ball. Adan Shantala came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Machigasta's Ciriaco Procopio. But to his dismay, Ciriaco Procopio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Machigasta made a substitution. Hugo Cordeiro replaced Cesar Chuan. In the 82nd match minute, Oberá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Veremundo to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Ciriaco Procopio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Shantala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Machigasta's Ciriaco Procopio got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Adan Shantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoberto Fagildo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 97thth minute of the game Ciriaco Procopio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oberá's Adan Shantala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Machigasta were the better team. Machigasta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
