The D.mandiyu fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when D.mandiyu's Severo Domenec looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Martina booed when D.mandiyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Gorbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Quinito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Benvido having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Basilio Quinito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. D.mandiyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Quinito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guido Salvadore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Clodoveo Benvido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Ralph Barnes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Martina and the D.mandiyu players grew even worse after the yellow card.
