Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaj Snell in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Mel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Alvarado getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Kaj Snell hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Rodolfo Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Silvio Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Nikola charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Nikola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Bavio CTC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alvarado:s goal. The referee gave Alvarado a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luisito Munio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bavio CTC's Leandro Mel. 1-0. Silvio Olivar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Leandro Mel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After 79 minutes, Urbano Martxelin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bavio CTC and the Alvarado players grew even worse after the yellow card. A very good chance for a goal. 97 minutes into the match, Bavio CTC's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Martino came free, but Leandro Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvarado's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
