With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonzo Quintin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 played minutes Gálvez got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Danel. Artemio Socorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Bizen, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Alonzo Quintin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Araoz in the 22nd minute of play. If Samuel Nuno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Quintin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Araoz in the 26th minute of the match. Ermegildo Lluterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Alonzo Quintin managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Chavarría's Gaspar Araoz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eduardo Sayvion hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Alonzo Quintin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermegildo Lluterio in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Gálvez's Jeremias Danel got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ermegildo Lluterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chavarría played a much better game than Gálvez and deserved their victory. The Gálvez players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
