An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Valiente in the 3rd minute of play forced Bielsista FC's goalkeeper Generoso Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atletico Tucuman's Bernardino Chaime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Viator in the 4th minute of play. Bernardino Chaime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Viator in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Jacinto Satordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sergio Tancredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Albino Bernal came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Atletico Tucuman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Bernal couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Patrick Låsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Abeitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes Bielsista FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ignacio Gonzales who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Atletico Tucuman's Ignacio Gonzales to fire away a dangerous shot which Generoso Abeitia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Bielsista FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Claudio Maties hit a great ball. Bielsista FC's Generoso Abeitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Gonzales in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Gabriel Orzaize got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bernardino Chaime was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 28 minutes into the match, Bielsista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Låsberg came free, but Generoso Abeitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, Atletico Tucuman's Sergio Tancredo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Abeitia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Bielsista FC defense, Patrick Låsberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Generoso Abeitia. The Bielsista FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Generoso Abeitia should have stopped the shot. Generoso Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Albino Bernal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ignacio Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes of play, Atletico Tucuman's Ignacio Gonzales made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Abeitia was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Bielsista FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atletico Tucuman were winning 0-3.

When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Ignacio Gonzales sped through Bielsista FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Generoso Abeitia. 56 minutes into the match, Bielsista FC's goalkeeper Generoso Abeitia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Gonzales. A collision led to Bielsista FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Claudio Maties hit a great ball. The supporters of Atletico Tucuman booed when Bielsista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Maties didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Bielsista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Låsberg came free, but Generoso Abeitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Gonzales got free with Generoso Abeitia in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardino Chaime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. With his leg Generoso Abeitia managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Atletico Tucuman's Ignacio Gonzales fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 86th minute, Atletico Tucuman's Ignacio Gonzales dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bielsista FC's goalkeeper Generoso Abeitia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emiliano Valiente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Bielsista FC's Generoso Abeitia got control of the ball when Ignacio Gonzales tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atletico Tucuman's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
