This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Caio Romero as he didn't even see the shot coming. Caio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Viator, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Bielsista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Tulio came free, but Generoso Abeitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Hermengildo Marino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Feliciano Llorenc took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caio Romero. Caio Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Orzaize in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caio Romero saved Santander CA from getting behind. After some careless play in the Santander CA defense, Feliciano Llorenc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caio Romero. The Santander CA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caio Romero should have stopped the shot. When Guido Tulio came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Santander CA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Tulio couldn't finish the play. After having played for 82 minutes, Feliciano Llorenc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
