Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Osvaldo Monte made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Curacó AFC booed when Galactic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Mede didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th match minute, Curacó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Bastian to maneuver through the defense. After 9 played minutes Curacó AFC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Baristo. Felix Viklund scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anacleto Gaueko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Curacó AFC's zone, Orlando Elodio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anacleto Gaueko came out of the goal and Orlando Elodio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Viklund scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anacleto Gaueko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Orlando Elodio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Felix Viklund came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Galactic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Viklund couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Curacó AFC's Armando Baristo got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Galactic booed when Curacó AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Orlando Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Gaueko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Monte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Felix Viklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Benedicto Restu came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Curacó AFC fans jumped to their feet. After the first half Galactic were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Viklund to strike the kick off in the second half. Orlando Elodio struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Anacleto Gaueko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galactic. Generoso Tiadoro hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Curacó AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Orlando Elodio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Andres Illart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Baristo in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Monte in the 62nd minute of play forced Galactic's goalkeeper Andres Illart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacleto Gaueko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Elodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Viklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Gaueko having to interfere. If Felix Viklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Orlando Elodio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacó AFC's Anacleto Gaueko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Orlando Elodio struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Anacleto Gaueko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galactic. 83 minutes into the match, Benedicto Restu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Galactic's Andres Illart. Andres Illart was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Curacó AFC's Anacleto Gaueko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Curacó AFC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 93 minutes, Osvaldo Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curacó AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Monte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Osvaldo Monte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galactic's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
