After a defensive mix-up in Horqueta AFC's zone, Gabriel Lorien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Ubelteso came out of the goal and Gabriel Lorien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Remir made a kick off. Ciriaco Ermano might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliciano Mouricio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciriaco Ermano ran back to his position shaking his head. 53 minutes into the match, A.C. The Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Abecia came free, but Feliciano Mouricio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
