When Bonifacio Guillelmo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Pequerroyar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Guillelmo couldn't finish the play. villa urquizu's Eugenio Marko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Stanislao in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, villa urquizu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esen Özkutlu to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Severiano Ezkerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugenio Marko. villa urquizu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severiano Ezkerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Eugenio Marko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Santio in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Flavio Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Marko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Sandalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Sandalio came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aaron Weterio could save by the left post. Aaron Weterio came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by villa urquizu's Sufi Erenoz. But to his dismay, Sufi Erenoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a little luck, Pequerroyar's Aaron Weterio got control of the ball when Sufi Erenoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 minutes, Sufi Erenoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the villa urquizu and the Pequerroyar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sufi Erenoz hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Ruben Stanislao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Marko having to interfere. After the first half Pequerroyar were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Pequerroyar to win.
