After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Victoriano Jakes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recreo's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Jakes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Costante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute, Campo Grande F.C's Gabriel Lehen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gabriel Lehen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Campo Grande F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gabriel Lehen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Campo Grande F.C getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gabriel Lehen hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Melchor Eguen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Clodoveo Costante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, Lisandro Cordero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Victoriano Jakes came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Recreo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Jakes couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Cordero in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clodoveo Costante saved Campo Grande F.C from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Eguen in the 45th minute of play forced Campo Grande F.C's goalkeeper Clodoveo Costante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Pepillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lisandro Cordero made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Recreo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Jakes to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Melchor Eguen notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Campo Grande F.C's Clodoveo Costante. Clodoveo Costante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Pepillo got free with Clodoveo Costante in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 0-6 became the score in the 60th minute when Lisandro Cordero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Clodoveo Costante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Cordero in the 63rd minute of the match. Lisandro Cordero kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Fernan Luzaide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Saul Mark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Luzaide in the 69th minute of the match. Clodoveo Costante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Pepillo in the 73rd minute of play. Melchor Eguen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clodoveo Costante having to make a save. In the 77th minute, Fernan Luzaide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clodoveo Costante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Pepillo in the 80th minute of the match. If Melchor Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clodoveo Costante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Terciero, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Fernan Luzaide fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campo Grande F.C's protests and gave Fernan Luzaide a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Campo Grande F.C got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Luzaide. Campo Grande F.C's Clodoveo Costante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Campo Grande F.C from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Recreo's Melchor Eguen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clodoveo Costante. That made the score 0-7 after 88 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Michael got free with Clodoveo Costante in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute, Leo Pepillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Recreo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8.
