The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5thth minute of the game Orlando Milio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taco's Valentin Ascencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Drink Team booed when Taco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Abilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Filomeno Bautista scored to the left of an out of position Valentin Ascencio, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Drink Team getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Samuel Urtsin hit a great ball. After 19 minutes, Arsenio Otsoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taco and the Drink Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Taco:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Drink Team:s goal. 24 minutes into the match, Taco's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Milio came free, but Valentin Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damaso Toli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Valentin Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damaso Toli might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Ascencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damaso Toli ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34thth minute of the game Orlando Milio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taco's Valentin Ascencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valentin Ascencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Astor Basajaun's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Valentin Ascencio came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Drink Team's Damaso Toli. But to his dismay, Damaso Toli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 42 minutes into the game, Drink Team's Orlando Milio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentin Ascencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Milio in the 47th minute of play forced Taco's goalkeeper Valentin Ascencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Milio to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Filomeno Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drink Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Bautista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Ascencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56thth minute of the game Orlando Milio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taco's Valentin Ascencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Astor Basajaun during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Orlando Milio struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Valentin Ascencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drink Team. In the 67th minute, Damaso Toli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Ascencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 70 minutes into the match, Orlando Milio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Ascencio. Taco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Milio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After a rather tough play, Drink Team's Abel Ieltxu got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Freddy Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taco's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Orzaize breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Drink Team made a substitution. Urbano Mede replaced Orlando Milio. 85 minutes into the match, Urbano Mede notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Taco's Valentin Ascencio. Valentin Ascencio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valentin Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Mede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Mede, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Drink Team had played much better football throughout.
