The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Patricio Clemencin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Merexildo in the 5th minute of the match. Gervasio Bartoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Bank in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Sirrochi F.C were awarded a corner. Rolando Chesus went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Rolando Chesus almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pedermar AFC's Gervasio Bartoli did a great save. Aaron Manny kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The referee gave Sirrochi F.C a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rolando Chesus, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pedermar AFC's Gervasio Bartoli. 0-1. After 26 played minutes Sirrochi F.C got a freekick which was hit by Boris Bank. If Angelo Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Juan Charro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Bartoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pedermar AFC! Nunez Merexildo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patricio Clemencin having to make a save. When Fidel Oidor fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sirrochi F.C's protests and gave Fidel Oidor a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sirrochi F.C getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Fidel Oidor hit a great ball. Patricio Clemencin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eliseo Bermudez. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boris Bank in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Bartoli saved Pedermar AFC from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nunez Merexildo was the one to do the kick off. If Boris Bank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Juan Charro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Nunez Merexildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Clemencin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Merexildo's late challenge caught a Sirrochi F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 83 minutes, Juan Charro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sirrochi F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Charro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Bartoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Charro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Angelo Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Bank might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gervasio Bartoli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boris Bank ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan Charro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gervasio Bartoli having to make a save. 94 minutes into the match, Pedermar AFC's goalkeeper Gervasio Bartoli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Charro. The Sirrochi F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sirrochi F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
