Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Serafino Atauri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kjartan Odland might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafino Atauri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kjartan Odland ran back to his position shaking his head. Kjartan Odland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Serafino Atauri made a huge save. Dario Demario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Dario Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Potrero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Demario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafino Atauri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 邵挺宁 in the 15th minute of the match. If Kjartan Odland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Demario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Serafino Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Potrero FC's 邵挺宁 got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Kjartan Odland came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the El Potrero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjartan Odland couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Sedeni kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Kjartan Odland took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Serafino Atauri. Vargas AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dario Demario was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. El Potrero FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clodoveo Shepherd made a kick off. After having played for 61 minutes, 邵挺宁 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Potrero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 邵挺宁 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jimeno Tabb charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jimeno Tabb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jimeno Tabb kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Dario Demario made a precise shot to the right of Serafino Atauri. Vargas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 72nd minute, Erubiel Terciero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vargas AFC's Serafino Atauri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Demario in the 75th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Dario Demario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vargas AFC's Serafino Atauri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artemio Gergori kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Constantino Bilintx might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantino Bilintx ran back to his position shaking his head. 邵挺宁 struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Serafino Atauri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Potrero FC. If Celedonio Luken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafino Atauri came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by El Potrero FC's Celedonio Luken. But to his dismay, Celedonio Luken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. El Potrero FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
