Cesar Primeiro scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Maia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Kjartan Odland kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leandro Tabor. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. Ciro Fidele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Edwardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ceibal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Potrero FC the free kick. With his leg Leandro Tabor managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when El Potrero FC's Dario Demario fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leandro Tabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Demario in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Demario to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Dario Demario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 邵挺宁 might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Tabor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 邵挺宁 ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Demario in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Tabor saved Ceibal from getting behind. If Cesar Primeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Primeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. João Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Potrero FC made a substitution. Celedonio Luken replaced Kjartan Odland. Cesar Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Maia having to interfere. If 邵挺宁 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Ciro Fidele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ciro Fidele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceibal's Leandro Tabor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Luken in the 89th minute of play. 邵挺宁 scored 5-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leandro Tabor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leandro Tabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 邵挺宁 in the 94th minute of play. Ciro Fidele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that El Potrero FC were the better team. El Potrero FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
