A collision led to Los Borbotones getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Diego Armando Maradona hit a great ball. Domingos Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Fiz in the 20th minute of play forced Estudiantes De La Plata's goalkeeper Benicio Gaufred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes De La Plata's zone, Cleto Hurko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Gaufred came out of the goal and Cleto Hurko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benicio Gaufred stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Fiz's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Cleto Hurko struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Benicio Gaufred didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Borbotones. After 37 played minutes Estudiantes De La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Goizeder. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Cleto Hurko sped through Estudiantes De La Plata's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benicio Gaufred. Domingo Hernandez hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Omar Fiz made a precise shot to the right of Benicio Gaufred. Estudiantes De La Plata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Fiz made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Cleto Hurko made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Estudiantes De La Plata's Benicio Gaufred tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benicio Gaufred stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleto Hurko's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Hurko in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Gaufred prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleto Hurko in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benicio Gaufred saved Estudiantes De La Plata from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Los Borbotones's Waldemar Erland got a free kick in the 80th minute. When Los Borbotones's Omar Fiz in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Omar Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benicio Gaufred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Hurko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes Estudiantes De La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Goizeder. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Borbotones fully deserved thier win.
