Spectators: 6642 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bonifacio Hernando started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Domingos Goizeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Juan Eder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benicio Gaufred was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. When Senna Boca Jrs's Juan Eder in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Senna Boca Jrs's Fernando Olentzaro got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Juan Eder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute, Bonifacio Hernando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonel Olentzaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Benicio Gaufred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Eder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Olentzaro came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes De La Plata's Domingos Goizeder. But to his dismay, Domingos Goizeder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Juan Eder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benicio Gaufred was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Fernando Olentzaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Eder in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Gaufred prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, Senna Boca Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Admon came free, but Leonel Olentzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Senna Boca Jrs's zone, Bonifacio Hernando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Olentzaro came out of the goal and Bonifacio Hernando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Senna Boca Jrs's Leonel Olentzaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Admon in the 42nd minute of play. Leonel Olentzaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Goizeder in the 46th minute of the match. When Fernando Olentzaro came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Senna Boca Jrs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Olentzaro couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Eder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Nemesio Orzaize managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Senna Boca Jrs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Orzaize was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Eder in the 61st minute of play forced Estudiantes De La Plata's goalkeeper Benicio Gaufred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estudiantes De La Plata's Hugo Admon got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiantes De La Plata's goalkeeper Benicio Gaufred, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Domingos Goizeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Gaufred came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Senna Boca Jrs's Fernando Olentzaro. But to his dismay, Fernando Olentzaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 77 minutes, Bonifacio Hernando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estudiantes De La Plata and the Senna Boca Jrs players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Senna Boca Jrs booed when Estudiantes De La Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Hernando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benicio Gaufred showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Eder, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Juan Eder notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Estudiantes De La Plata's Benicio Gaufred. Benicio Gaufred was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonel Olentzaro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hugo Admon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 89 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes De La Plata's zone, Fernando Olentzaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Gaufred came out of the goal and Fernando Olentzaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Senna Boca Jrs were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
