Urbano Paio ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the match, Parque Tricolor's Ernesto Remir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximo Mon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Enrique Ubarna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damaso Lluis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimiro Salvino having to make a save. Vladimiro Salvino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

56 minutes into the match, Azteca's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Remir came free, but Maximo Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Salvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Habakkuk N'Soumer's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Parque Tricolor's Rareș Cretan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabian Curcio, made in the 62nd minute of the game. 65 minutes into the game, Azteca's Habakkuk N'Soumer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 71 minutes of play, Azteca's Habakkuk N'Soumer made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimiro Salvino was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Parque Tricolor supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Azteca's performance. The match ended with a win for Azteca.
