To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Augusto Euloxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Telmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Urritz in the 38th minute of the match. Luisito Urritz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Erramun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ciriaco Telmo. Rustico FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernan Rito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hernan Rito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Millan having to make a save. Gerardo Aznar's late challenge caught a Rustico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Aznar helped the player get up and apologised. Gerardo Aznar hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rustico FC booed when Pichuco FCO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisito Urritz got free with Ciriaco Telmo in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute Silvio Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Euloxu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Antonio Ishmael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 71 played minutes Pichuco FCO got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Flores. 76 minutes into the match, Antonio Ishmael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Millan. Pichuco FCO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Ishmael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Valentin Millan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Ishmael's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Hernan Rito struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Valentin Millan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rustico FC. 92 minutes into the match, Luisito Urritz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Rustico FC's Ciriaco Telmo. Ciriaco Telmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rustico FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
