An unexpectedly hard shot by João Santos in the 4th minute of play forced C. A . Grazianada's goalkeeper Miguel Artaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Feliciano Abaunza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miguel Artaldo, 1-0. Östen Modig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliciano Abaunza in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Artaldo saved C. A . Grazianada from getting behind. Östen Modig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Artaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Inocencio Manni's late challenge caught a Cortines's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocencio Manni helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cortines booed when C. A . Grazianada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Manni didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 minutes of play, Cortines's Östen Modig made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Artaldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by João Santos in the 27th minute of play forced C. A . C. A . Grazianada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cortines the free kick. With his leg Miguel Artaldo managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Cortines's Östen Modig fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 34th minute, Östen Modig fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Miguel Artaldo, passed just outside the right post. 38 minutes into the match, Feliciano Abaunza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miguel Artaldo, 3-0. When Tomas Raitin came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the C. A . Grazianada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Raitin couldn't finish the play. Isidoro Donio struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Jose Firman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A . Grazianada. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliciano Abaunza was the one to do the kick off. With 53 minutes on the clock, Adrian Walme commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 53rd minute, one of C. A . Grazianada:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C. A . Grazianada. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Cortines. Feliciano Abaunza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miguel Artaldo. 4-0. When Feliciano Abaunza came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Cortines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Abaunza couldn't finish the play. Miguel Artaldo came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cortines's Östen Modig. But to his dismay, Östen Modig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Abaunza in the 77th minute of play forced C. A . Grazianada's goalkeeper Miguel Artaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Artaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Abaunza's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 8-0 became the score in the 81st minute when João Santos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nunez Gartzea during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute Östen Modig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Artaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Artaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Abaunza's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Isidoro Donio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Luis Calderón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Firman having to interfere. Miguel Artaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Abaunza's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. In the 96th match minute, C. A . Grazianada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Luis Calderón to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Cortines were the better team. Cortines's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
