Hell Slayers 37's Silverio Chumo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Lastur in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute Bernardino Lastur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Chumo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ciriaco Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Chumo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Lastur, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Ciriaco Bernad came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Bernad couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Hermengildo Ederono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bernardino Lastur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeo Gartzen during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Eloy Silbestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeo Gartzen got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Silverio Chumo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Bernad in the 62nd minute of play. Independiente's Eloy Silbestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Baumar in the 65th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Gelmiro. After a rather tough play, Hell Slayers 37's Mauricio Baumar got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Hermengildo Ederono fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hell Slayers 37's protests and gave Hermengildo Ederono a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hell Slayers 37 getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Hermengildo Ederono hit a great ball. Bernardino Lastur scored 0-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silverio Chumo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciriaco Bernad in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silverio Chumo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardino Lastur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Silverio Chumo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 84th minute, Hell Slayers 37's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernardino Lastur fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciriaco Bernad in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silverio Chumo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Jonas Dei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Dei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Chumo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Mauricio Baumar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eloy Silbestre. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Baumar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Silverio Chumo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Bernad in the 98th minute of the match. Independiente's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
