Manantial AFC's Rolando Berasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Bero in the 7th minute of play. The corner ended in Gonzalo Luzea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rosario Central's Jacinto Mundo did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Modesto Loco in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Berasko saved Manantial AFC from getting behind. Jacinto Mundo made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Marciano Paublo sent off a good shot on target. After 23 played minutes Manantial AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Bartoleme. Rolando Berasko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Segio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosario Central's Jacinto Mundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario Central from getting a goal against them. The long shot by Gogo Elia in the 29th minute really tested Jacinto Mundo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Manantial AFC's Adolfo Frantzes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Mundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Berasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Segio in the 35th minute of the match. If Marciano Paublo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute of the match, Adolfo Frantzes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jacinto Mundo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jacinto Mundo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gogo Urbes. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Frantzes to make the kick off. Jacinto Mundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Frantzes in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Segio got free with Rolando Berasko in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 62 minutes, Adolfo Frantzes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manantial AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Frantzes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Paublo in the 65th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Jacinto Mundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
