In the 3rd match minute, Yatay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Benino to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Stephan Fauendal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huejeda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stephan Fauendal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Florin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urbano Eli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th minute, Stephan Fauendal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Florin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Stephan Fauendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yatay's Celedonio Florin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Ortle in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan Fauendal in the 25th minute of play forced Yatay's goalkeeper Celedonio Florin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Teobaldo Leobardo fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yatay's protests and gave Teobaldo Leobardo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Huejeda AFC booed when Yatay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Leobardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Stephan Fauendal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celedonio Florin. Yatay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stephan Fauendal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some careless play in the Yatay defense, Stephan Fauendal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Florin. The Yatay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Florin should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Yatay's goal looked a bit too open when Stephan Fauendal came free, but Celedonio Florin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Rigoberto Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Florin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Stephan Fauendal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Florin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Celedonio Florin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stephan Fauendal's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Celedonio Florin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Igon in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Yatay's Teodosio Precioso got a free kick in the 45th minute. Stephan Fauendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 52 minutes into the match, Huejeda AFC's Stephan Fauendal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celedonio Florin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 52nd minute, Stephan Fauendal made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Florin. Yatay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 55th minute, Stephan Fauendal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Stephan Fauendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Yatay's Celedonio Florin got control of the ball when Rigoberto Ortle tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Yatay's zone, Stephan Fauendal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Florin came out of the goal and Stephan Fauendal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teobaldo Leobardo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Stephan Fauendal had several of the Yatay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Celedonio Florin as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some careless play in the Yatay defense, Rigoberto Ortle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Florin. The Yatay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Florin should have stopped the shot. Yatay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Stephan Fauendal scored to the left of an out of position Celedonio Florin, making the score, 0-9. Santos Benino kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Huejeda AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
