The referee showed Romulo Mazuste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th match minute, Riquimaravilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Mazuste to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo San la muerte's Jimmie Helström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ronald Li in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 43rd minute Epifanio Ovando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio De Meis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Epifanio Ovando made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Epifanio Ovando dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabrizio De Meis, 1-1. Riquimaravilla FC's Gaspar Resto got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Riquimaravilla FC's Gaspar Resto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabrizio De Meis. That made the score 1-2 after 61 minutes of play. Epifanio Ovando struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Fabrizio De Meis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riquimaravilla FC. Lino Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Ovando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fabrizio De Meis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Yancho Gyudzhenov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronald Li. Riquimaravilla FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yancho Gyudzhenov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Riquimaravilla FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
