Cienfuegos's Claudio Gonzo got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudio Gonzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Tobias Oro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eduardo Nazario. The goal made the score 1-1. After 20 minutes, Tobias Oro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luracatao FC and the Cienfuegos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tobias Oro hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Tadeo Patrido got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ryszard Bierfass took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Nazario. Eduardo Nazario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 37th minute, Claudio Gonzo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Luracatao FC's Alejo Louis didn't even have to move. After 39 played minutes Cienfuegos got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Florian. Luracatao FC's Tadeo Patrido got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Tadeo Patrido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Eduardo Nazario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 46 minutes into the match, Cienfuegos's Claudio Gonzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejo Louis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 56 played minutes Luracatao FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Oro. After 57 played minutes Cienfuegos got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Florian. After 58 played minutes Cienfuegos got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Blasco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Patrido in the 59th minute of play forced Cienfuegos's goalkeeper Eduardo Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Luracatao FC's Tadeo Patrido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Nazario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Alejo Louis was a little too slow when Claudio Gonzo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 4-2. After 73 played minutes Cienfuegos got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Blasco. Eduardo Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Fidele in the 75th minute of the match. Tobias Oro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Nazario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Ryszard Bierfass had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Nazario. Cienfuegos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryszard Bierfass was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Cienfuegos's Eduardo Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Patrido in the 86th minute of play. Tadeo Patrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tobias Oro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Patrido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Oro in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Nazario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luracatao FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
