In the 6th match minute, UV Tapón de Sevilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Ferrando to maneuver through the defense. After 7 minutes of play, River CBA's Genaro Chorache made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Bazil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baldomero Bazil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Salvino in the 14th minute of the match. Baldomero Bazil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Salvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led River CBA's Zeledon Gaxan to fire away a dangerous shot which Baldomero Bazil despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Genaro Choraches short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Baldomero Bazil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Genaro Chorache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Baldomero Bazil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilano Salvino struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Baldomero Bazil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River CBA. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Genaro Chorache managed to get in a good position for a shot. River CBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Chorache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
