Domingo Firmo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Ernesto Gutierrez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Chillar's Ernesto Gutierrez got control of the ball when Domingo Firmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Chillar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Aballe to maneuver through the defense. Boca Juniors F.C.'s Amadeo Oro suffered a concussion in the 28th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chillar! Domingo Firmo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Gutierrez came out and tried to block the shot, but Domingo Firmo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chillar's zone, Domingo Firmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Gutierrez came out of the goal and Domingo Firmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Domingo Firmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chillar's Ernesto Gutierrez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chillar's Ernesto Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Firmo in the 74th minute of play. Santos Panfilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Chillar's Delmar Mendebal got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 80 minutes, Delmar Mendebal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chillar and the Boca Juniors F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Boca Juniors F.C. booed when Chillar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Mendebal didn't get a good kick on the ball.
