In the 19th minute, Fernan Errapel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Olavarria getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Romulo Esdras hit a great ball. Luis Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Castulo in the 27th minute of play. Olavarria's Sebastian Tristan got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Sebastian Tristan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Leobardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Tristan, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute Adolfo Chinto suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 35 minutes, Amadeo Oro mouthed his way into the referee's book. Godfredo Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors F.C.'s Santos Panfilo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Godfredo Vergaray made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Sebastian Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Leobardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Anastasio Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olavarria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Castulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zeledon Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Godfredo Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
