The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melquiades Rafe during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Rafe to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Peluca Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Ekialde came free, but Leo Calvet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eusebio Bide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Calvet was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Leo Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Geofredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Peluca Futbol Club's Cristian Cristofor was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Eusebio Bide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Calvet having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Vinícius Bertassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peluca Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Cristian Cristofor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peluca Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Cristofor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano Marcones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Cristofor in the 59th minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Aureliano Marcones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristian Cristofor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Talleres getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Leonides Geofredo hit a great ball. Aureliano Marcones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Cristofor in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Urbano Ekialde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Aureliano Marcones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Katia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peluca Futbol Club had played much better football throughout.
