Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 57 minutes, Cristian Cristofor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peluca Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Cristofor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Severiano Fero fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club's protests and gave Severiano Fero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Cristian Cristofor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beloslav Paskalev in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Calvet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Zachariasz Ruszkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Marques came out of the goal and Zachariasz Ruszkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leo Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Rocio in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Racing Club's Rigoberto Marques got control of the ball when Ovidio Katia tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachariasz Ruszkowski in the 76th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Rigoberto Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Peluca Futbol Club's Cristian Cristofor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rigoberto Marques. Rigoberto Marques yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Rocio in the 89th minute of play forced Peluca Futbol Club's goalkeeper Leo Calvet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Cristofor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Marques made a huge save. Peluca Futbol Club played a much better game than Racing Club and deserved their victory. The Racing Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
