After 3 minutes, Andres Lapurdi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pilar FC and the Los Viciosos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los Viciosos booed when Pilar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Lapurdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Damaso Sein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Viciosos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Sein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Los Viciosos booed when Pilar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Cordarrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Ariste was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ovidio Calixto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After 16 minutes Pilar FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ovidio Calixto who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Los Viciosos's Umberto Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Ovidio Calixto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Ariste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gomez Trimiño's late challenge caught a Los Viciosos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gomez Trimiño helped the player get up and apologised. Joaquin Ariste acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ovidio Calixto. After 24 played minutes Pilar FC got a freekick which was hit by Julian Cordarrel. Pilar FC's Joaquin Ariste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Sein in the 26th minute of play. Jorge Oskarbi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Lapurdi in the 30th minute of the match. Pilar FC were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Los Viciosos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augusto Vasco took the corner. Julian Cordarrel made a great header on Pilar FC's corner, it was just that Los Viciosos's Jorge Oskarbi managed to reach the ball for a save. Joaquin Ariste made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Aristides Berriotxoa sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the game, Aristides Berriotxoa lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Joaquin Ariste. Jorge Oskarbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gomez Trimiño in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Sein in the 48th minute of play forced Pilar FC's goalkeeper Joaquin Ariste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Aristides Berriotxoa made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Los Viciosos getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Danilo Foro hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the game, Los Viciosos's Aristides Berriotxoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Ariste made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Aristides Berriotxoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Viciosos's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Berriotxoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Ariste breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pilar FC's Joaquin Ariste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Berriotxoa in the 68th minute of play. Los Viciosos's Damaso Sein got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 minutes, Aristides Berriotxoa made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pilar FC's Joaquin Ariste tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ovidio Calixto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Berriotxoa came free, but Joaquin Ariste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Vasco charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Vasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pilar FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Augusto Vasco hit a great ball. Aristides Berriotxoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Los Viciosos's Jorge Oskarbi got control of the ball when Andres Lapurdi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Oskarbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gomez Trimiño in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Los Viciosos were the better team. Los Viciosos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
