Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Felix Natal kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Haitz got free with Dalmacio Franco in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marciano Manni charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marciano Manni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marciano Manni kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Arnulfo Gutierrez struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Dalmacio Franco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matilde AFC. In the 10th minute, Carlos Valerio made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Gilesindo. Matilde AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, Clara FC's Dalmacio Franco got control of the ball when Esteban Haitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dalmacio Franco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnulfo Gutierrez's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute, one of Clara FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clara FC. If Carlos Valerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Valerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Gilesindo having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Ernesto Lugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Inocente was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Arnulfo Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Haitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Gutierrez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Matilde AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ernesto Lugo hit a great ball. Esteban Haitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmacio Franco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteban Haitz ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Clara FC booed when Matilde AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Flor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Natal spun around in front of the goal 62 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Matilde AFC's goal. Arnulfo Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Franco having to interfere. Dalmacio Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Haitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clara FC's Dalmacio Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Gutierrez in the 70th minute of play. Esteban Haitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmacio Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Gutierrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ernesto Lugo fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matilde AFC's protests and gave Ernesto Lugo a yellow card for diving instead. Ernesto Lugo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Dalmacio Franco came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Matilde AFC's Arnulfo Gutierrez. But to his dismay, Arnulfo Gutierrez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Dalmacio Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Haitz in the 89th minute of play. Dalmacio Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Haitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The tension between the Clara FC and the Matilde AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Clara FC's Israel Beat got a free kick in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Clara FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Matilde AFC.
