Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeu Madureira in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miro Barúmov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Lluciano in the 13th minute of play forced Plagas FC's goalkeeper Miro Barúmov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Plagas FC's Miro Barúmov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Dumitras in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Plagas FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Aristides Fidencio hit a great ball. Miro Barúmov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Madureira in the 23rd minute of the match. Ioan Atanasiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Rivas in the 25th minute. Baltasar Fraco kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Ioan Atanasiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulino Geofredo went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Segundo Rivas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Tadeu Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miro Barúmov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ayacucho FC's zone, Juan Artaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ioan Atanasiu came out of the goal and Juan Artaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeu Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Miro Barúmov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siro Godoy during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Ayacucho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Godoy to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Ayacucho FC defense, Segundo Rivas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ioan Atanasiu. The Ayacucho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ioan Atanasiu should have stopped the shot. If Segundo Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Aristides Fidencio sped through Ayacucho FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ioan Atanasiu. In the 77th match minute, Ayacucho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Madureira to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game, Plagas FC's Aristides Fidencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ioan Atanasiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. A collision led to Plagas FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ulises Toro hit a great ball. Ioan Atanasiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Fidencio in the 89th minute of play. Segundo Rivas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ioan Atanasiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Aristides Fidencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plagas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Fidencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ioan Atanasiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ayacucho FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Plagas FC.
