In the 8th minute of the game, Humberto Elequemedo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Elias Serapio fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Las Chicas Futboleras's protests and gave Elias Serapio a yellow card for diving instead. Xanadú made a substitution. Angelino Urdin replaced Humberto Elequemedo. In the 9th minute, Elias Serapio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Petri, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Dolcet in the 14th minute of play forced Las Chicas Futboleras's goalkeeper Lucas Rameriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Osoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Xanadú's Carolo Dolcet in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Las Chicas Futboleras's goalie prevented a goal. After 28 minutes, Siro Belmiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Chicas Futboleras and the Xanadú players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Las Chicas Futboleras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Belmiro to maneuver through the defense. If Albano Hegoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Casimiro Osoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. But to his dismay, Angelino Urdin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Carolo Dolcet might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Rameriz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carolo Dolcet ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, Las Chicas Futboleras's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Urdin came free, but Lucas Rameriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Carolo Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carolo Dolcet to strike the kick off in the second half. Angelino Urdin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Lucas Rameriz made a huge save. Lucas Rameriz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelino Urdin went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Carolo Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Dolcets short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Lucas Rameriz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Carolo Dolcet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carolo Dolcet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Lucas Rameriz made a huge save. After 72 minutes of play, Xanadú's Angelino Urdin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Rameriz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelino Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Carolo Dolcet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Rameriz was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. During the 84th minute of the match Siro Belmiro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Siro Belmiro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Carolo Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Rameriz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Remigio Edorta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xanadú's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Edorta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Rameriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Las Chicas Futboleras's Lucas Rameriz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Las Chicas Futboleras from getting a goal against them. Xanadú played a much better game than Las Chicas Futboleras and deserved their victory. The Las Chicas Futboleras players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
